[lazarus] Lazarus does not run

Hi,
I don't know why I am unable to test lazarus.

On Windows XP I was able to compile it after downloading it from cvs until last week. Today I downloaded it again and it does not compile. I get:

Under linux it compiles but does not start. I see the splash screen, then the cpu is used at 100% and that's it. Nothing happens after that.
Then I kill lazarus (ctrl+c on the console).
Whats wrong here?

I compile lazarus, both under linux and on windows with fpc 1.0.7, using "make clean all".
