[Lazarus] svn2.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/ stuck in r14665

There is one thing I have noticed, which might be useful for the admins of http://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/  to spot the differences in the settings.

After replacing  "svn.freepascal.org" with it's IP address, chekout on http://62.166.198.202/svn/lazarus/trunk results these errors:

Error: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/lazarus/trunk'  
Error: PROPFIND of '/svn/lazarus/trunk': 405 Method Not Allowed (http://62.166.198.202)  

Doing the same with http://svn2.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/ --> http://80.123.225.55/svn/lazarus/trunk, both work fine. (Except stucking with r14665, but it is probably an other issue.)

After doing some search on the internet, it seems that this problem has been around for a  while.
Some people concluded that it is a timeout problem for some rooters and decreasing the MTU for the OS on the client side solved it for them.  In case someone wants to try it this this links may be useful: http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2007-04/0743.shtml ( This did not work for me, even the lowest possible value did not change anything.)

I am not sure any of  these helps, but it is at least something to start width. :)

  After changing theURL in  ".svn\Entries" to http://svn2.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/  it worked again.

  And now it is stucked at r14665. Tried a new checkout to an empty directory, but it is the same.

      stuck at r14665 for quite some time.

      I have problem accessing http://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk/
      so I'm have been using svn2 recently.



    This was the same problem I had. So I changed in .svn directory the Entries file to have svn2 rather than svn web site and now it works again.
