At the moment fpGUI defaults to Arial-10. Soon I will change that to 
Arial-8 for Windows and Arial-10 for Linux/FreeBSD. Xft under Linux will 
substitute an alternative font if Arial doesn't exist, but installing 
mscorefonts packages or copying Arial font into ~/.fonts/ directory 
fixes that.
