[Lazarus] FTP, web page, etc. controls

Hi all!!

I need to create a project, but I want to make it with lazarus, only if it can be done... 

Lazarus can create a project that every 5 seconds open a web page, php, and the php give to it some instructions, like copy a file, then the lazarus open a ftp to the server and download a file, or upload a file, or open a web page in php with some post information???

do you think that lazarus can support this???
