Yes. 

TIBConnection to connect to the Database
TSQLTransaction to control your transaction (connect to database)
TSQLQuery to execute queries. Connect to database and SQLTransaction.

There is no TSQLTable or so. Instead, use "select * from tablename"
in your TSQLQuery.
