You could use an unofficial ( very, very old,  2002) fbclient dll for 
ARM from http://www.firebirdfaq.org/faq334/.

For simple selects is working fine. I just use it to populate some 
TMemDataset from a Firebird Server running in CentOS 5.3 ( it's not a 
typo, CentOS 5.3 released at 31/3/2009 ... )
