Just to list two examples:

* Pascal Code Formatter
Already supported via Jedi Code Formatter - though not fully
integrated into Lazarus IDE yet.
* New Data binding model allowing binding to almost any property
on a control
Michael van Canneyt has already proposed something like this to a
select few developers. I think this is a brilliant idea and the way to
go. It's also a nice way of getting run of db-aware components by
allowing data binding to any standard components. I already do
something similar in our projects using the Model-GUI-Mediator design
pattern.
