You cannot use units compiled by 2.5.1 when you are using the 2.2.4
compiler. Which version do you *want* to use?

From this, I would infer that you want to use 2.5.1; where did you
install it and how did you install it? I shall assume you installed it
into /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/lib, etc., and that your 2.2.4 compiler
is installed in /usr/bin, /usr/lib, etc.

The most frequent problem installing a snapshot of FPC is that the
ppcx64 (or ppc386) symlink is not created to make the compiler
accessible by $PATH look-up. Using a root console, try the following:

   cd /usr/local/bin
   ln -s ../lib/fpc/2.5.1/ppcx64 .

Note that you might need to issue "hash -r" or even logout and login
again to force the shells to rescan $PATH for the FPC executables.
