[Lazarus] One project and many versions of FPC?

I fail to see how this helps? Also my FPC doesn't have a -V command line
option, only -v<x> for verbose output.

And -T<x> is for the target operating system. eg: -Tlinux

How does this help if I have Linux, but FPC 2.2.5, 2.3.1 and 2.5.1
installed on Linux?
