Hi,

the project wizard that opens aften closing the current project had an odd 
user interface for recent projects selection. It bugged me from day one when I 
saw it. I fixed it with my new access rights for Lazarus SVN.

There is a related issue
0011048: Convert Project is missing in Close Project Dialog

Where Mattias has put a ToDo:
Add a 'open recent project' button, maybe like the one on the IDE menu bar. 

My fix more or less implements that (although it is not a button).

I promised to commit only converter related stuff but this was so obvious fix 
that I just made it.

There are other oddities in Lazarus UI, one being the Build Lazarus Dialog 
(for which I sent patches, remember).
I will not commit those myself though, it's a bigger change and not as 
obvious.
