Luckily it's open source, so anyone can jump in and patch, or even
offer to be the new maintainer.  There just isn't the manpower to
maintain an obsolete widgetset.  I wish all the people who have been
on gtk1 all this time would jump in and work on the fpgui interface,
since that will really help for light-weight systems.
