Sorry to hear about all your problems on the mailing list. ;-)

The reason for me starting this thread was not to bitch about this or
that. I'm simply concerned that for a long time now there is no stable
branch or working stable release of Lazarus. Luckily for this thread,
Vincent got some ideas from somebody else, and the long standing
broken "fixes" branch is actually fixed again.

So no I don't agree with you. Based simply on the above progress with
the fixes branch, I regard this message thread as a success. A
problem, no stable updated Lazarus, is now fixed.

As for people with too much email, git issues, too little time in the
day, svn issues, can't fucken read the docs, etc..... that's their
problem not mine, and was not the intended topic of this thread.
