I have no idea of cgi, but some comments suggest to me that cgi must be 
tailored to a number of new "platforms", e.g. Apache...

Perhaps a similar distinction could/should be made with window managers, 
so that TApplication could interact with Windows, Gnome, KDE, Apache 
etc. application or window management.
