They do give some hints about what they look for in projects and
basically they list:

1> They like projects that they themselves use (so expect python and
general linux software to always be added)
2> Projects which make a lot of noise (I guess mono comes here)

We are neither used by Google nor we make a lot of noise, so I guess
that's why we were rejected.
