Yes. It only returns a "TManagedObject" wrapper for the given control, without 
any side effects. The returned value is not used here so it is clearly a 
useless call.

Anyway, the project has bigger problems than a useless function call.
There is an ugly TCrackControl typecast trick which should be cleaned out if 
this program is going to be developed more.
I already changed it heavily to get rid of interfaces which often create 
problems in Delphi and FPC programs. It is a pity of course, proper interfaces 
would be useful.
