Indeed, and coming from someone who has to support distributions using GTK2.08 and earlier your 
method of dynamic linking has worked flawlessly. Much appreciated!

While I'm commenting in this thread. The LCL may be buggy (it certainly has its moments), but at 
least it natively supports the Mac.
