Sorry for replying to myself again.
I just tested the bindings and they worked out of the box on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit for me. If you do not have portaudio already installed just install portaudio19-dev.
The bindings include a simple test program (testpasine.pas) which can be easily modified to provide the desired functionality.
