[Lazarus] How to pass path of fpc to make command, and some thoughts on Lazarus/FPC Installation.

All documentation I know mentions that you need the fpc sources. Where
is this missing?

Yes, 0.9.28 uses 2.2.4.
For 0.9.29 I would recommend 2.4.0+
