I'm not promising anything, since yesterday I was dumped with a whole
bunch of code changes and new feature to our legacy products - what joy! :-(

Anyway, I have read bits and pieces of what you said regarding the
non-gui event system and TThread changes. Would you mind creating a wiki
pages on wiki.freepascal.org outlining your thoughts on the subject. I'm
not about to waist 2-3 hours sifting through old emails looking for
answers. Use the wiki page as a design proposal, and I'll take another
look. The wiki site has been used numerous times before to summarize or
outline some design proposal - so the FPC or Lazarus team should not
mind this.
