No. PP= the compiler. "ppc*.exe" with *=target architecture

FPC= the frontloader binary that can select between different compilers
depending on parameters.

I don't know PPC=

But in simple cases

A bournism. Plain Bourne sh (not Bourne *Again* sh) supports it too. (ash,
