[Lazarus] Code Templates via Ctrl+J is broken in Trunk

For a while now I have noticed that typing some text and then wanting
Ctrl+J (Code Templates) to complete the code is broken. I could never
figure out why, until now.

I use tab characters for indentation. If the text is prefixed with a
tab character, then code templates don't function in the editor. See
the attached screenshot.

Is this a known bug, or must I report it in mantis too.
