I only fixed the unneeded compilation of the LCL. That's merely an
optimization.
Compilation should not fail, unless you installed a conflicting package.

Compile the IDE once with -vut.
Then compile it again. The second compile should be smaller than 50MB.

Search the output for propedits. Do you see anything suspicious?
propedit.pp must be only in folder ideintf,
propedits.ppu must be only in ideintf/units/x86_64-linux/gtk2/
