In the docs I see on the first view: "uses BrookApplication; ... 
TMyApplication = class (TBrookApplication)"

Seems like this nicely adheres to the Lazarus "standards".

Thus it might be viable to somehow add this to be selectable via a 
"WidgetType" build macro.
