[Lazarus] Default debug mode and internal debugger

GDB on Ubuntu 14.04

A typical problem is when evaluating a symbol that belongs to the 
current class (e.g. FMyVariable), then inspecting FMyVariable gives 
"symbol unknown" while "self.FMyVariable" works. When I saw the post, I 
assumed it was the same problem.
