He meant, you cannot use CLX and LCL in an application at the same
time. Same with fpgui.

You can either port your CLX application to the LCL or you can extend
the IDE designer to support CLX applications. And when the IDE can
support CLX, then it is a small step to support fpgui as well.
Maybe msegui too, but that uses a different FCL, so maybe that needs
some more support.
