[Lazarus] Theoretical question about future of Lazarus

Did I do it wrong?
This is what I did (following an online tutorial):

# cd /usr/local/lazarus
# svn co http://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk source
# cd /usr/local/lazarus/source
# make all OPT=-dFPC_ARMHF
# make install OPT=-dFPC_ARMHF PREFIX=/usr/local

There is no mention of bigide here as far as I can see....

Did I get the latest version (at that time)?
svn reported revision 50023

Notice that it was done as sudo su....
