[Lazarus] ATSynEdit gives OnKeyDown twice per each key

Strange issue on Linux gtk2. (OK on Win32).

In simple demo of ATSynEdit, I get 2 calls of OnKeyDown per each typed 
letter, e.g. "d". Why is it so? ATSynEdit just uses TWinControl's OnKeyDown,
