As I replied to Sven: I know.
I am indeed talking about that window, and I consider this window
simply not usable in SDI mode (which is the mode I work in).
The component palette is what I use, so it is natural to ask to improve
that.
and I suspect I am not alone in my preference:
it's not for no reason that Embarcadero reinstated the component
palette after trying to get rid of it in a couple of Delphi versions.
