I didn't check qt-lcl for a while, but this is a common problem: fpc 2.0.4 
is broken on amd64 when it comes to use qt bindings
(it was a problem in passing records to c functions, see 
http://www.freepascal.org/mantis/view.php?id=7613).
However, it has been fixed in 2.2 branch, so use a 2.1.3 compiler on amd64 
if you want to use qt.
