I have forwarded the issues found by Martin to Maciej Izak, the author
of FreeSparta, and Balázs Székely who participates in fixing the code.
Balázs has made a patch based on CodeTyphoon's solution and it works
much better for me than the Sparta basic does.
Maciej is comparing the code. I believe we will see a working solution
in near future.

Why the problems came up in my KDE 5 system but not in other Linux
systems is a mystery. There were bad problems also in OS/X according
to Balázs.
