[lazarus] no text in editor

Are you on Win32 or Linux? Must be WIN because it works under Linux. Here's what happens under Linux.
FORM IS RESIZED: I fill a pixmap with the form color, then call a DRAW event. The EDITOR.PP file gets the draw event then colors the editor.
FORM IS MOVED OR EXPOSED: I simply draw the portion of the form that was exposed, not calling a draw event.
The problem on Linux is that I am drawing the form prior to a file being loaded. Once I change that, there will be text there right away. I still have an issue when resizing the form. Sometimes it seems to send a draw message, but it's never gotten. It would be nice to know when the user is resizing and releases the mouse button, then I could call DRAW.

Hi Shane,
I've tried it, but it doesn't work.
I've opened two editor windows, and I dragged one over the other. When
I dragged then that window away, then I still don't see no text in the
window that was hidden partially or completely.
I also ALT-TABbed to another application that completely covers
lazarus, and then switched back. But without the desired result.
I'm not very well used to the lazarus source, but if you give my some
redirections in what sourcefiles the redrawing occurs I could try to
help searching the bug.
