We are using DATA to hold the SELF parameter.  If you would like to store something and retrieve it on demand, then use gtk_object_set_data and gtk_object_get_data

I see in GTKCallback.inc there is a "data" passed, no doubt a cookie set
when the GTK object was constructed.

Is there any way to obtain this value directly from a GTK widget on demand
