The mailing list is NOT being replaced, just thought if we wanted a place to CHAT we could set up a MIRC location. You can do that on the fly though so it's not a big deal. Anyone in MIRC can log onto a server and start a #lazarus chat room.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think for ICQ or MIRC to be useful, you
should have a direct or semi-permanent internet connection.
You can particpate in a email discussion while being most of the time not
connected to internet.
I would not like it all if the mailing list would be replaced bij ICQ or
MIRC.

What about an activelist server through ICQ?
Would that be better than MIRC?

hello,
I would like to start helping with the project on weekends, hopefuly this
weekend i'll get all setup. So if anyone could assign something to me that
would be greate (Something like save dialog/open etc). I also have a few
sugestions *grin*: why can't we look at sibyl source code to see how they
implimented things like winproc for os2 and win? if anyone needs a copy
i can provide. And why don't we have a IRC channel? I know some
people don't like IRC but for thouse that do it would be faster and less
emails to read for participants and faster for newbees.
Please comment on ideas. Thanks.
Andrew L.
