Well I know were it is but not sure why. Didn't go that deep yet.

   gtk_widget_show (fComponent)

called in

   TWinControl.Show

by

   TMenuBar.Show

is what is throwing the exception. I placed the gtk_widget_show in a
try..except block to trap it and just print a writeln telling me if this
did throw it. Sure enough that is were it came from. With that block in
there the program continued on but later on it just cored.

We'll have to trace back through and find out if some of the variables
are set to the correct values or what is exactly going on.
