[lazarus] On my way to compile lazarus

Brad,

I think you pointed out quite rightly the source of all my problems.
THANKS :-)
I am just left with one problem 

I was able to : 
 make cycle the compiler
 make fcl
 make gtk
 make lazarus.... >>> compiling no probs, linking I had /usr/bin/ld
cannot open -lXi no such file or directory.
