A make in the packages dir would satisfy. We only need packages/gtk, but it 
is no problem to build all.

As the makefiles are setup now, you need the sources. Since we are building 
against the latest FPC and to avoid confusion I didn't refer to the 
installed units in the makefiles.
So instal the sources, make sure the lazarus sources are in the same dir 
(like the layout in CVS) and try again.
