Concerning the font and syntax highlighting problem, we should take a look at
the Moonshine source and see how they do it. They use plugins to define the
syntax highlighting for different languages, including Pascal. It seems to do
a nice job of drawing the fonts and highlighting. It might be worth a look to
see how they are handling the fonts. If I can get a little time in the next
couple days, I will try to take a look at it.
