[lazarus] Compiling Process.pp

Hola!
   Thanks for your hint to find Process.pp, just downloaded it and
trying to compile.
    Probably there is an easier method I ignore, but I move to the
subdirectory,  execute the ppc386 command, including paths to the
required units and includes. Then move back to the lazarus directory to
compile it, is this right? There is a use for the Makefile and
Makefile.fpc files?

   When asked to compile classes.pp, which requires classesh.inc, I got
this messages

thread.inc (74,8) Error:Unkown record field identifier HANDLER
thread.inc (74,16) Error:Unkown record field identifier SH
Fatal: There were 2 errors compiling module, stopping

I am using Linux Mandrake 6.0, since November 1999. Previously I was Win
user, with Delphi. I am not a programer, but a physicist who need
programing.
