[lazarus] what version of fpc to compile lazarus

It sounds like you are using the correct version on FPC. However, your paths are incorrect or you are compiling wrong.  

Do you type

make

to compile Lazarus?  Look in lazarus/components/codetools.  There is a linkscanner.pp file there and there should be linkscanner.o and .ppu in components/units.

I have errors like: codecache.pas(35,18) fatal: can't find unit
LINKSCANNER


what version of fpc use ?
