... not standard installed with what OS so ever. It doesn't come in standard
packages that are on CDs, or can be autoinstalled. Deployment of apps would
be a nightmare. (while win32 is standard, and nearly any desktop *nix system
has GTK)

It is afaik not in the BSD ports tree, which means it is either not
compilable, unusable or not free. (it is free according to its website)
