Update...

Happens to all tabs depending on situation.  Attempting to recreate a 
project from the .lpr file seems to cause the most damage to the 
palette.  It's not directly related to CBT, because it happens on other 
brand spankin' new projects as well, when you LOAD them.

It could be something in my component packages, but considering I've 
been using those files for months without problems until I loaded them 
into a package, I dunno what would cause it.  I will send the package 
tgz's on request to anyone who wants to try to reproduce it.
