[lazarus] Problems installing components

I've tried to add to components to Lazarus (TMysql and FileView, DirTree that 
I downloaded).  I used the open package file under components. When I click 
on install I get this error:
	"Error expanding embedded variable"

I'm using 0.9.0 on FreeBSD 5.1 with FPC 1.0.10. I've made sure that the option 
to compile for FreeBSD is set under the compiler option for the component 
install. Now I don't know where to go.
