Either TImageHandlersManager is much more sophisticated than I think (and I don't understand anything) or you are telling me to implement the replacement for GetFPImageReaderForFileExtension myself, because I don't see that ImageHandlers has the functionality I want. Namely getting the correct ImageReader/Writer for a given extensions, although it can be used to write such a function.

But you did not use ImageHandlers to replace GetFPImageReaderForFileExtension yourself, so where is the catch?
