[Lazarus] Issue 16978:Left ALt key no longer works

Hi,

One of the issues scheduled to be fixed before next release is issue
16978: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=16978

At this moment, none of the Lazarus developers could reproduce this
issue with the current Lazarus 0.9.29. Is there anybody, besides
Michael, who can reproduce it?

Please add a note to the bug tracker mentioning details about fpc and
lazarus versions, gtk2 version, CPU and desktop environment.
