[Lazarus] Lazarus restart

I start Lazarus by double clicking in Nautilus (Ubuntu file manager) on 
a bash script which includes FPC path exports and Lazarus binary. If I 
rebuild the IDE and "restart after building" is checked, the IDE 
restarts (I can sometimes see the splash screen flicker), and the 
terminal disappears. I have to manually restart it.

However, if I execute the script from a terminal, the IDE restarts 
correctly after the rebuild.

Is this a bug?
