Next try: It's not Linux itself that does this, but some part of the 
Distro you are using. Here is a little article I found just now: 
http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/debian-ubuntu-removes-files-at-boot-time/

So maybe then Felipe's distro doesn't seem to do this by default.
