I think not necessarely. Last year I complained a bit and they were
quite open about it, and apparently they changed the team that chooses
the projects. Last year the subscription time coincided with a huge
peak of work here so I missed the deadline =(

I think that someone that mentions that FPC has around half a million
downloads each year, and Lazarus around 200k and a dedicated community
could convince them to accept us. I just don't want to lobby since I
am already the project mentor, it would look like a 1 men effort.
