[Lazarus] Printing TStrings with a TFont

Does anyone have an example of printing with Lazarus using TStrings and a
TFont? I tried something the other day, and although I had the Lazarus
printer4lazarus.lpk package installed, and used the printer dialog, nothing
seemed to print with BeginDoc, Canvas.TextOut, EndDoc.
