I could do nightly builds but until the repaint issue is resolved I
don't see much of a point. But I suppose I could just start doing it
anyway.  :-\

You need to have the GTK DLL's installed. You can get them here.

     ftp://lazarus.freepascal.org/lazarus/gtk-dlls.zip

Unzip this to either the directory of the Lazarus.exe file or put them
in your /windows/system directory.
